Naples Beaches
Naples has over 10 miles of sandy beaches between Gordon Pass on the south to Seagate Drive on the north.
The Travel Channel named Naples as America’s Best All-Around Beach in 2005.
Yahoo! Travel consumers have rated Naples’ beaches as one of their top 10 favorite beaches in the United States.
Clam Pass and Delnor-Wiggins State Park are consistantly rated in the top 20 National Best Beaches Survey by Dr. Stephen Leatherman of the University of Maryland. Dr. Leatherman is also known as Dr. Beach.
32nd and 33rd Avenues - located on Gordon Drive.
Barefoot Beach State Recreation Area - located at the west end of Bonita Beach Road.
Vanderbilt Beach - located at the west of Vanderbilt Beach Road, along Gulf Shore Drive to the west end of Bluebill Ave. Miles of white sandy beach. Conveniences - freshwater showers. Vanderbilt Beach can also be used by residents of Pelican Bay.
Delnor-Wiggins State Park - located at the west end of Bluebill Ave. Conveniences - grills, picnic areas, boat ramp, restrooms, bathhouses, showers and wheelchair accessible.
Clam Pass - located at the west end of Seagate Blvd. The white sandy beach area is about .6 mile long. Beach visitors can either walk the boardwalk or take the free tram to the beach. Conveniences include restrooms, concession area offering beach umbrellas, chairs, lounges, sail boats, food and drinks.
Lowdermilk Park - located on Gulf Shore Blvd. at Banyan Blvd. Amenities include children’s play area, volleyball courts, duck pond, restrooms, showers, picnic tables, chickee huts, and concession stand.
Bonita Springs Beaches
Bonita Beach - located at the west end of Bonita Beach Road and Hickory Blvd. Amenities here are picnic facilities, volleyball courts, showers, restrooms, and refreshment area.
